From Eden to the Kingdom

In this sermon, we begin a new series on how to share the Gospel using the Gospel of John. We focus on John 1:1-5 and the four keywords: Word, Made, Life, and Light.

From Mark 15:16-41 we see the curse of the king, the crucifixion of the king, and the cry of the king.

From Mark 15:1-15, see the case against the king and the collapse of moral judgment.

From Mark 14:66-72, see the ignorant denial, the insistent denial, and the irreverent denial.

What is the millennium? A literal 1000 year reign of Christ from his throne in Jerusalem, or a symbolic number representing a long period of kingdom expansion and eventual dominance?
